Asian Drivers

The Global Asian Driver Research Programme

DPP collaborates with a global group of researchers examining the impact of China and India on the developing world. Although each institution has its own area of expertise, we share a common framework and approach to assessing the nature and extent of the impacts of the Asian Drivers on low income economies.

The collaborating institutions are:

  • Centre for China-GMS Studies, Chiang Mai University, Thailand
  • Institute of Development Policy Management at the University of Manchester
  • International Development Research Centre (Nairobi)
  • PRISM, University of Cape Town
